Positive Force DC presents:
GENERATION REVOLUTION (DC premiere)

“An important contemporary document…passion and idealism oozes off the screen.” – The Guardian

Trailer: https://genrevfilm.com/

Following its World Premiere at Sheffield Doc Fest and its UK theatrical release, Generation Revolution, a powerful documentary following the new generation of black and brown activists–the UK’s #BlackLivesMatter story–will tour key cities in the USA with co-directors Cassie Quarless and Usayd Younis.

With the recent election of an openly racist President, Generation Revolution is a film that urgently needs to be seen and engaged with by American audiences. The poignant stories that it captures feed into the current debate around the movement for black lives and the need for progressive and radical political engagement. The film broadens the scope of the conversation around police brutality and racism from a national issue to an international one, seeking to build bridges of solidarity. It is a film not to be missed!

The film is 70 minutes and will be followed by a Q & A panel w/ co-directors Cassie Quarless and Usayd Younis with local activists. $5-10 sliding scale at door, ADVANCE TICKETS COMING SOON!
